Bangladesh: A mapping of innovative media
This report contains the findings of a mapping of innovative and public interest media in Bangladesh, carried out by Digitally Right for the IMS Asia Regional Programme in the period 7 November to 15 December 2021.
The study covers three main regions and consulted 130 people and media, including thorough desk research and existing information available. This report describes the overall media environment in 2021, but for privacy protection reasons does not include names of people interviewed or internal details of media houses contacted.
Tech Policy Fellowship
Digitally Right is proud to launch the first Tech Policy Fellowship in Bangladesh for young and mid-career professionals in the field of law, technology, development, and journalism. This fellowship offers a 6-month intense study of tech policies in Bangladesh and abroad, and how they shape our lives in a transforming world. It is an opportunity to learn from leading global and local experts with extensive training, mentoring, and networking. Fellows receive stipend and expected to produce academic papers on a related topic.

Our resources, audits and trainings help the media and civil society organizations to develop systems and processes to be digitally safe and secured. Our support to the media development and rights organizations extends to audit, develop training modules, session plans, study materials and guides and manuals to help them doing what they do best.
